Our highly trained VAG technicians use our most advanced diagnostic equipment to carry out the initial investigation. We will then contact you to discuss the next steps which will either be a firm quotation for the repair, or for more complex issues, an estimate for additional diagnosis

Component Protection Removal

As an anti theft protocol, most VAG electronic modules; Instrument clusters, media units, heating controls etc have in built component protection. This is initialised from factory and stops modules being swapped into different vehicles. As an authorised VW group repairer we can sync used modules to a different vehicle by removing the component protection.


From simply replacing a bulb to complete engine rebuilds, we only use genuine OE parts or quality parts from reputable sources and suppliers.

As we specialise in The VAG Group we have an in-depth working knowledge of these vehicles and therefore, should you need a repair, we may well have seen the symptoms before, thus enabling us to repair the vehicle quicker than most other non specialised workshops.

The MOT certificate confirms that at the time of the test, without dismantling it, the vehicle has or has not met the minimum acceptable environmental and road safety standards required by law. It doesn’t mean that the vehicle is roadworthy for the length of time the certificate is valid. The MOT certificate is also no guarantee of the general mechanical condition of your vehicle. The test doesn’t cover the condition of the engine, clutch or gearbox.

As an independent we are not tied to any one tyre manufacturer as are many of the big national companies. This means we can offer an almost unlimited choice of makes of tyre either off the shelf from our own large stocks, or within less than 24 hours from the manufacturers. We also supply part worn tyres, new / used alloy and steel rims. We can also repair punctures helping you get the most out of your tyres.


The cam belt is one of the hardest working components in an engine. Made from a rubber based compound that deteriorates with time, it should be checked and replaced every five years or as per the mileage specified in your service schedule – whichever comes first.

Air Conditioning Service

We recommend your air-conditioning system is serviced every two years to make sure it’s running at maximum efficiency.

DSG Oil Service

We check the gearbox for leaks, drain it and replace the oil filter before filling it with high quality gearbox oil to Volkswagen / Audi approved standards. The oil, every 40,000 miles, the filter may need to be changed as well.

Convertible Roof Repairs

Engine Compression

A good way to check engine wear is to test the compression of each cylinder using a compression tester. The check will reveal any leakage and enable you to detect whether the cause is worn piston rings, a blown cylinder-head gasket or a valve that is not seating properly.

ECU Remapping

With the rising cost of fuel it would be nice if you could achieve more miles to the gallon wouldn’t it? Well now you can and not only do you increase your MPG you get more power and driving performance is better. How do we do this? We perform a remap to your engine control unit (ECU).

Injector Testing

The fuel injectors in your vehicle are designed to spray fuel into the cylinders of your engine where it is combined with air and compressed before being ignited by the spark plug to produce power
